DIOR MEN FALL 21 GLOBAL POP-UP STORES

The delicious, divine Dior collection revealed in early December hits stores globally.

If, like myself and Generation Z, you have a deep affinity for galaxy lights, an abundance of saturated colours and the addicting tracks of Honey Dijon, then no doubt you will have bookmarked Dior Homme’s Fall 2021 collection.

In partnership with American artist Kenny Scharf, this collection reflects the joyful multicoloured murals of Scharf. Drawing inspiration from pop culture icons, you will find the recognisable graffiti incorporated into prints and embroideries. Scharf describes his flow technique where he approaches his work with humour and spontaneity.

Its release came as a pop of joy, following the sudden announcement of the November lockdown in the UK. There’s also an interesting use of traditional Chinese techniques seed stitching (dazixiu 打籽秀) on its embroidery to achieve its sharp detailing on the silk brocade coat and pearl beret.
