Ibiza Photo Diary
There's more to Ibiza than clubbing. Going to the white isle itself was a huge tick off my very much non-existent bucket list. I simply wouldn't have dreamt of seeing disclosure live (#coachellavibes). But being in the same room with artists like Example, Lily Allen, DJ Wire and Martin Garrix made it easy to forget the meaning of concert etiquette, which again was pretty non-existent. Thinking back, I really pushed my way through the crowd and fought to the front row at Martin Garrix. If you're into the whole EDM scene, like myself, you must've heard of Amnesia's Cream Ibiza party. Amnesia also holds the Together party where Chase & Status was their resident DJ and their acts this year included world-renowned artists like Afrojack, Sander Van Doon, Chainsmokers and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Partying in a club that can hold more than 5,000 ppl makes it easy to compare it to dancing in a giant Ikea warehouse. And don't even think about sleeping before 7AM because that's when the parties finish hence you got to get used to what I call 'party lag'. Stating that made me realize how unfair that New Yorkers don't get jet lag since what I call 'party lag' is basically NY time zone. Since we lived at an apartment, everyday was burger day (it's easy to make and I can't cook) that week and I practically felt as if I hopped onto an express train to obesityland but that didn't happen all thanks to the all-night dancing every night with a rough estimate of 400 calories per hour (450 at a push?). Tanning is near impossible since days started at around 3 in the afternoon and, for me to say the least, I wasn't able to make myself wake up earlier than that. Photo diaries mean more photos less words so I'll leave it to you from here. Enjoy the pics!
