Benjamin Antz-Recalt Spring Summer 2015 RTW

Five of my favourite looks from Benjamin Antz-Recalt's new collection 'Mademoiselle Ladyboy'. I love the modern detailing in this collection. Benjamin took inspiration from the cabaret acts at The Crazy Horse, emphasizing different textures in modern cuts. Originally from Paris, he has worked for the big houses from the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier and Franck Sorbier. Every piece from the collection seems very 2050 (or beyond): Short, clean white bobs matched with bodycon neat pieces and metallic clutches; eye-catching two tone monochrome statement heels; a blazer dress which has a sheer see-through fabric that drapes down to the feet.  Definitely reminds me of Amanda Seyfried's character in the film 'In Time'. But here the bob is bleached white and the outfits are much more colorful than those in the film. Benjamin will be releasing his first couture line this coming Janurary and I am definitely looking forward to see more of his designs. See more of his designs on his website and NOTJUSTALABEL which I definitely recommend if you're in search of up & coming designers!
